Tim "Tex" Kopp
My name is Tim Kopp, better known as Tex. I have been a mate on the John Jack for five years. I started wreck diving in the Northeast in 1992 and was captivated with it. Since then I have taken several courses in Nitrox, Advanced Nitrox and Trimix and have PADI, IANTD and TDI certifications. I am also a licensed US Coast Guard captain up to 100 tons.
I enjoy artifact hunting, lobstering and the history that the shipwrecks offer. Occasionally I grab my spear gun and go fishing or I grab my scooter and tour the wreck. When I am not diving during the off-season, you can find me "deep" in the woods hunting.
My motto is "if you hook it, I'll dive it".
