Captain Zero
Joseph Terzuoli, better know as Zero, or Captain Zero, has been diving the North Atlantic since 1976 at the age of 14. He has made over 3,500 wreck dives. He has run, and participated in expeditions to sites such as The Andrea Doria, The Republic, The Spike Fish, The U-Who (U- 869), Truk Lagoon, and Bikini Atoll. Captain Zero holds a 100 ton Masters licence. He has been running the John Jack for 15 years. Zero has been certified in Technical Nitrox, Tri-Mix, Gas Blending, and a P.A.D.I. Divemaster since 1991. He recently completed Re-Breather training, on both the Inpiration, and Megladon Re-Breathers, to round out his diving education. He is also an EMT and has been trained in hyper baric medicine, specifically as a chamber operator at the City Island chamber. The Captain also runs a fill station, located near his home, in NJ. . The fill station can provide Air, Nitrox to any percentage, Argon, and Trimix fills. Zero’s main focus in diving is wrecks, lobstering, photography, and artifact collection.
