DIRECTIONS TO THE CANYON RIVER CLUB

From New York & North Jersey
Take the Garden State Parkwy South to exit 98. At the exit, pay the toll and bear LEFT to Route 34S The exit ramp will put you onto RT 34 S. Go about 3/4 of a mile to a traffic circle. Go ½ the way around and continue on RT 34 S. Go straight for about 3 miles till you come to a large intersection. This is the intersection of Rts 34, 35, & 70. Just stay straight and follow the signs for RT 35 S.

RT 35S. Go straight on this about a mile. You will come to a large draw bridge, go over the bridge, staying in the left hand lane. You will immediatly pass an Exxon station & Dunkin Donuts on your left. Continue 300 Ft. Further in the left lane, this will become a U-turn, you will now be facing back towards the bridge. Move into your right hand lane, and go just BEFORE the stop light. Make a RIGHT turn, go slowly. You will be on Broad Street. You will see a 7-11 on your right. ( Stop there and pick up a coffe, light with 3 equals for the Captain.) You will see a small side street on your left, Channel drive, bear left onto it. You will pass Spike’s fish market on the left. We are just 5 Yrds up on the left. It is an odd shapped parking lot that is also shared by Bogans Tackle Shop. The boat is around back.


Directions from the South
Take the Garden state Parkway NORTH to exit 90. After paying the toll, merge onto RT 549 tpowards Brick TWP/ Lakewoo/ Pt. Pleaseant. Go 1.4 miles. You will come to the intersection of Rt 549 & 70. Make a LEFT onto RT 70. Continue on for 5.4 miles. You will come to a large intersection. This is the intersection of Rts 70. 34,& 35. Make a right turn onto 35 S Now follow the directions from above at RT 35S


PARKING
As you can see, the parking lot here is small. Just use it to unload. NO ONE !!! may park in this lot. EVEN IF IT IS EMPTY. I have made arrangements to park in the lot across the street from South Side Marina. Violators will be asked NOT to return to the John Jack, and will forfeit all future trips, and deposits. It is EXTREMLEY difficult to find a marina for a commercial boat in Manasquan. Please do not put my slip in JEAPORDY.
